​C M Venkateswaran (Venkat) is the CEO of Aker Powergas Subsea Pvt. Ltd., the Indian arm of Aker Solutions, Norway, a leading global provider of engineering and construction services, technology products, and integrated solutions for the energy and process industries.  Aker Powergas Subsea today has over 600 employees working out of their offices in Mumbai and Pune.

Venkat is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer with over 30 years of professional experience. Over the years in his career, he has gained deep experience in Construction, Project Execution and Supply Chain Management.  His domain knowledge and appreciation of multi-disciplinary interface saw him moving into a role as Global Supply Chain Manager to facilitate sourcing from India for Aker Solutions Projects worldwide.

In September 2008, Venkat took over as the Head of  Aker Powergas - Pune to spearhead the new Subsea Oil and Gas Initiative for the company.  With a small core group in place, he strategically positioned the company to grow the business in strength and value year-on-year by executing several subsea projects in the Norwegian Continental Shelf and other regions.

Michael Betz

Michael Betz is a co-founder of thinkstep and sustainability veteran. He is currently heading the Material and Compliance Business Unit at thinkstep AG and also responsible for the global Business Development.

In his actual capacity he is responsible for materials and compliance management solutions of thinkstep which sold in an exclusive partnership with Siemens Industry Software. The Business Development function comprises strategic partnerships and initiatives as well as corporate development. 

Prior to that, Michael Betz held various different positions in the company, which was renamed in 2015 from PE International AG. ​Till 2001 Mr. Betz was vice director of the department Life Cycle Engineering at the Institute for Polymer Testing and Polymer Science (IKP) of University of Stuttgart.
